Utility Billing

In December 2004, the Athens-Clarke, mayor and commission voted to create a new utility fee to fund stormwater management in the county. This fee is billed to the owners of all developed property in the county.

Most stormwater utility customers will receive their first bill in April 2006. Though customers will receive bills starting in April 2006, stormwater utility charges began accruing in July 2005.
